Expressed concern about Ankylosing Spondylitis

New Delhi : Ankylosing spondylitis news:  Delhi State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities Ranjan Mukherjee visited CAAS India Foundation office. During this, he took information about patients of AS and Autoimmune Disorders and also participated in the discussion organized on these issues. During this, Founder President of caas India Foundation Ankur Shukla welcomed the Disabled Public Commissioner.

The Disabled People’s Commissioner expressed concern over the condition of other diseases including ankylosing spondylitis (AS) of autoimmune category. He said that we have to stand firmly to fight against such diseases affecting the youth power. He said that it is very worrying that at such an age when the youth set their goals and achieve them, diseases like ankylosing spondylitis are making them handicapped.

Told health insurance is necessary

Commissioner Ranjan Mukherjee said that regular treatment of such diseases is necessary and by doing so youth can be saved from disability. He said that there is a need to find all possible ways to provide health insurance facility to such patients in the health system. Meanwhile, Vice President of caas India Foundation,

Arun Sharma said that the organization is continuing the campaign of awareness at the social level towards autoimmune diseases. He said that caas India Foundation will soon take other steps along with awareness, so that relief can be provided to such patients. On this occasion, General Secretary of caas India Foundation Avinash Jha, Secretary Ratnesh Kumar Singh, President of Purvanchal Vichar Manch Dr. Rakesh Raman Jha, social worker Rajendra Prasad Dubey and social worker Sumit Kaushik were present.

Delhi government is serious about the disabled

It may be mentioned here that during a program recently, Delhi’s Social Welfare Minister Rajkumar Anand had said that the Delhi government is soon going to do something new regarding beneficiary schemes for the disabled. Last month, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also given hints to this effect. He had said that he is serious about the condition of the disabled and is thinking of doing something better for them. Experts believe that the Delhi government may soon make a big announcement related to beneficiary schemes for the disabled.
